What aging with dignity means to us...

"Regardless of what a person has or is going through and their reaction to their sometimes undesirable circumstances, they deserve honor and respect."

Our caregivers are...

"selected based on how they respond to our values: Empathy, Trust, Service and Integrity. Many can have the skills to provide care and assistance, however, caregivers must possess the values that result in meeting clients where they are in their journey with dignity and respect."

The care we offer is unique because...

". . . not only is our care person-centered, but also client-focused. Person-centered is focusing on the specific need of a client, but also on persons with the same or similar needs and the professional care solutions found to result in improvement across the same demographic."

Important to remember when caring for someone...

"their feelings matter. They have not ever taken the journey they are on, a journey of uncertainty, the unknown and the need to feel safe."

What person-centered care means to us...

"Person-centered care means focusing on each specific client's needs and the professional care solutions that addresses those needs while maintaining the degree of independence, respect and dignity possible."

What would you want to know for family member care ...

"Can the caregiver bond with the family member in a way that the family member trusts the caregiver's character and that they have the skills to provide the care and assistance needed."

About

HomeWell Care Services of Plano, TX, is a full service in-home care firm serving the larger North Dallas, TX, area. HomeWell Plano was built by caregivers who cared for their parents before and after joining the in-home care space. Our services address activities of daily living (ambulation & transfers, incontinent care, bathing, dressing & grooming, and toileting), meal preparation and light housekeeping for adults age 18 and older. Our primary focus is to meet the needs of our clients and clients’ families while avoiding unnecessary emergency room visits, hospital admissions and re-admissions. We can do so by having a dedicated Client Relations Team who monitors our clients’ conditions, and focuses our personal assistants’ attention on our individual client’s conditions and potential symptoms that may indicate an issue requiring immediate attention. High quality in-home care requires consistency. To maintain consistency we offer scheduled staffing, daily and weekly minimum care hours, but also a quick-care option that focuses on task completion for periods of up to two (2) hours. Retention of high quality caregivers is also key to consistency. Our employee retention plan includes employee benefits such as our employee and employee family health plans and paid time off both of which contributes to retaining high quality employees. We look forward to the opportunity to serve you and your family in the near future
